Are these symptoms of adult ADHD?
I have a friend who is in her early 30s that seems to be pretty hyper. I've known her for ten years but I'm starting to wonder (after spending more time with her) if she has ADHD. Eversince I've known her, she tends to stutter her words, talks very fast (but I can understand her most of the time), and tends to interrupt when someone is talking to her about something (by responding with a comment that leads to a story of her own. Kinda like going off on a tangent). She's very forgetful too (i.e. forget to pick up someone from work, forget to call for important appointments), and even forgets that I just told her something and then asks about the same thing less than a minute later. She also has been fired from several jobs, where she would only last no more than a month from each of them. And almost everytime I tell her I have to get off the phone, she'll tell me "ok, I'm just going to do......." and pretty soon it's another story she's talking about. I mean, I don't get too bothered by all of this because aside from all of this, I love her as my good friend. But I'm wondering if she has symptoms of ADHD. If so, I wonder if I should help her with this, as I can see that this irritates some people that she's close with and has even caused us some trouble in the past. Thanks!
