I got ripped off in mexico, a warrant too for false accusation. What are good things about central america?

I live in Honduras, have traveled all of Central America, and have never run into situations you describe. Yes, I am a gringo and have not found CA to be dangerous at all. Honduras, Guatemala, and Nicaragua are all inexpensive to live and people will not rob you. In fairness to Mexico, Tijuana and Acapulco are famous rip off destinations. Lots of areas in Mexico that aren't like that.
