DOG SHOWING- Is my 10 week old cavalier king charles show quality?

Well if your interested in showing him then start going to local dog shows. You can find them on AKC.org. Click on "events" then find the conformation shows in your state. At the shows you can see how it works. And maybe while you're there you may just find a mentor to help you out. This is exactly how i did it. My dog only has one champion in his bloodlines, it's one of his grandparents. I have taken my dog with me to all the shows and people think he is a show dog. Every one says they won't allow you take your dog but everyone does and no one ever says anything when i walk in. As long as your dog is nicely groomed and well mannered your dog will blend in perfectly. I have met up with a few handlers and will be showing my dog in the near future because they say he looks like he'll win. When i first started going to the shows everyone there told me that a dog doesn't need to have Champions in order to be shown and can still win.
