Traveling to Zimbabwe. What should we bring?

My husband and I will be going to Zimbabwe for 6 months to do volunteer construction work. Have any of you lived there recently? If so what are you so thankful that you brought with you and what do you wish you had left at home? Any other info would be greatly appreciated as well.
