What does my dream mean?

Im not sure what our motives were, but i was with a group of solders, and we on a mission near the middle of mt. everest (although it didn't look like mt. everest at all, it was quite tropical). We were making courses and letting rocks and cans roll of the mountain to hit a target at the bottom of the mountain. Now every once in a while someone would die, and we knew it, i escaped death when i stepped into the helicopter, for it was on a ledge and my weight was making it tilt forward. One of the soldiers kept saying "ah man I"m next i don't wanna die!" and I though to myself i shouldn't have got in. But next thing you know the Pilot got the heli running, and nothing happened. Relieved, i got out the helicopter and walked down the road, and at this point we were all getting ready to go back down the mountain. All the solders got into a truck (16 wheeler) and they were coming down the road to get me, they were yelling and screaming from excitement. but the truck flipped, i tried running away but i realized it was too late, i hit the floor with my stomach, put my hands over my head, and said i was going to die. Then it hit me, as i was getting crushed i said "so this is how it feels to die" with a last breath of air escaping my mouth. I saw the light, then i felt emptiness. Total and utter emptiness. I heard voices, and i soon realized it was my fellow solders, i heard a "Clear!" and i woke up. They revived me. The setting then changed to a doctors office. I walk in and a girl was staring at me, at first i didn't recognize her. I threw up blood into a trashcan, came back to my seat and saw her sitting in the seat next to mine. I realize who it is, it was a girl i knew from high school, i still see her every once in a while, i told her i didn't recognize her, but i was so nice to see her. All i knew is that she became the love of my love from that day on forward. I woke up.
