Which is better for a plot in my novel?

Sorry no offense, but they're both too much like Percy Jackson. If you're doing a story about Greek Gods, especially a child of Poseidon you already ahve to be extreemly careful not to make it like percy jackson, but then you have something important that is going to happen on the characters 16th birthday so that just makes it much too similiar. You can still do something about poseidon and greek gods, just try making it more different.
